Above Te Rere Point on Waiheke Island’s western coastline, sits Te Rere Estate which encompasses four individual vineyards covering 2.4 hectares. Under the guidance of renowned local winemaker, Mike Wood, the vines are hand tended, their grapes handpicked, creating wines that naturally reflect the unique terroir.

Only two barrels of the Te Rere Chardonnay were crafted in 2021. The wine was fermented and aged in French barriques for 12 months, capturing the salinity from the coastline and locking in structure for an age worthy wine. With a backbone of citrus and white peach, the wine finishes with vibrant acidity and freshness.
