At Te Rere, we take our responsibility in selling alcohol seriously and are committed to promoting safe and responsible consumption. We comply with all legal requirements and uphold the highest standards of social responsibility. Therefore, we encourage you to review and support our policy below.

Te Rere Alcohol Sales and Delivery Policy

·        Upon first entering our website, buyers must confirm they are 18 years or older by clicking the age verification request before proceeding to browse any of the pages.

 ·        If choosing to proceed with a purchase, the customer is asked to verify their age again at checkout prior to making payment and proceeding with purchase.

 ·        All parcels containing alcohol are clearly labelled with our courier packaging. Couriers delivering goods containing alcohol will not deliver to anyone who is intoxicated or unable to provide evidence of age if requested. The only acceptable forms of ID for this include: A valid New Zealand drivers license, any Passport or a Kiwi Access (18+) card.

  • Under no circumstances will deliveries be made between the hours of 11pm and 6am on any day or will deliveries be made at any time on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, or before 1pm on Anzac Day

Responsible Alcohol Promotion & Compliance

As our website provides information about and sales of alcohol, our team is fully trained and understands their responsibilities under the law. We do not run any promotions that encourage an increased consumption of alcohol.

  • Alcohol will never be promoted irresponsibly nor do we run any promotions that discounts by more than 25% or could lead people to believe that alcohol is being sold at a price discounted by more than 25%.

  • We do not offer any prize-based promotions or sales of wine whereby consumers are offered the opportunity to win a prize or entry to a draw on the condition that alcohol is purchased.
